Bhubaneswar: Panic gripped passengers on the busy road near Nalco Square here on Tuesday evening as a moving Honda City car suddenly caught fire.
The occupants managed to get out of the car before the fire completely engulfed it.
On being informed, fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot and tried to douse the flames.
The car was travelling towards Patia from Jaydev Vihar when the mishap took place. Though reason for the fire is yet to be ascertained, electrical failure is suspected to have triggered it.
In August 2017, a moving Tata Indigo car had caught fire near the Nalco Bhawan at Chandrasekharpur and another near the Reserve Bank of India Regional Office at Kharavel Nagar in the city.
