Bhadrak: An infant, suffering from diarrhoea, succumbed to the illness on Saturday at a hospital in Bhadrak district after the doctors reportedly declared him fit.
Following the sudden demise of the 13-month-old boy, family members created a ruckus at Basudevpur community health centre, where he was admitted, alleging medical negligence.
On being informed, police reached the spot and tried to control the situation.
Further investigation is underway.
