Mumbai: Amid backlash and police case over crass jokes and vulgar content on his talent show, host Samay Raina took to his Instagram handle to share a post unrelated to the raging controversy.
Samay, who is currently on his Unfiltered: North America Tour 2025, shared photos from his show at the San Jose Civic in California.
Samay, who appears to be unfazed by the row, is seen facing a packed audience illuminated by mobile flashes.
He captioned the post as, “Performed in San Jose Civic | Grateful.”
On Sunday, Samay also performed at Seattle’s iconic Moore Theatre.

An FIR has been registered by Guwahati Police against Samay Raina and fellow judges Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, Apoorva Makhija, Ranveer Allahbadia of India’s Got Latent for promoting vulgarity on the show.
The FIR has been filed under multiple sections of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Bombay High Court advocate Satyam Surana has also lodged a complaint with Mumbai Police against Raina, Allahbadia, and other panelists.
“The video that went viral shows Samay Raina, Ranveer Allahbadia, and others inciting sexually explicit content and making obscene remarks. This is highly disturbing to common Indian sensibilities. As someone active in the legal field, I find it necessary to take legal recourse to hold such individuals accountable. We as a society must speak up against it,” Surana told ANI.
