Dhenkanal: Despite all possible measures the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has taken following the alleged leakage of question papers of MIL (Odia) and English in the ongoing annual High School Certificate (HSC) examinations this year, another similar incident has been reported on Saturday in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district after the Mathematics question papers were found circulated on the social media.
Sources said some people of Odapada Block found the annual HSC Mathematics question papers on WhatsApp near an examination centre in the Block.
While some locals said that the question papers appeared on the WhatsApp at 9.54 AM, 54 minutes after the examination begun, the District Education Officer (DEO) said he came to know about the incident at about 11.30 AM.
Sources said the local Tehsildar was present at the examination centre in Odapada Block when the incident came to light.
Asked about the matter, School and Mass Education Minister Badri Narayan Patra maintained that there was no leakage of Mathematics question papers.
It may be recalled that the minister had ordered a Crime Branch probe into the alleged leakage of MIL-Odia and English question papers on February 23 and 26 respectively.
