Balasore: Local fishermen caught a huge fish off the Digha coast along Odisha’s Balasore and East Medinipur district of West Bengal on Monday.
According to sources, some fishermen had gone for deep sea fishing off the Digha coast early in the morning. While fishing, a huge fish was caught in the fishing net. The fishermen later brought it to the shore.
Hundreds of people rushed to the beach to see the fish, weighing about 900 kg.
It was later taken in a mini truck to the fish market at Digha and auctioned for Rs 20,000.
