Hyundai launched its much-awaited Grand i10 Nios in India on Tuesday. The car will co-exist with the older Grand i10 and is priced at a premium over it. Here are the detailed variant wise ex-showroom Delhi prices:
Petrol:
Era: Rs. 4.99 lakh
Magna: Rs. 5.84 lakh / Rs. 6.37 lakh (AMT)
Sportz: Rs. 6.38 lakh / Rs. 6.98 lakh (AMT) / Rs. 6.68 lakh (Dual-Tone)
Asta: Rs. 7.13 lakh
Diesel:
Magna: Rs. 6.70 lakh
Sportz: Rs. Rs. 7.85 lakh (Dual-Tone)
Asta: Rs. 7.99 lakh
The new Grand i10 Nios has new interiors which are dominated by a 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system inclined towards the driver.
The car comes in six single-tone and two dual-tone colours including Alpha Blue, Aqua Teal and Fiery Red.
Hyundai is not discontinuing the small 1.2-litre diesel engine and has successfully upgraded it to meet BS6 norms. The 1.2-litre Kappa Petrol produces 82 bhp power and the 1.2-litre U2 CRDi Diesel engine makes 74 bhp. Both engines come with manual and automatic gearbox choices.
As expected, the diesel gives an impressive 26.2kmpl on both manual and AMT variants. The petrol manual gives 20.7 kmpl and the AMT petrol delivers 20.5 kmpl in the ARAI test.
