Bengaluru: Six Indian Air Force (IAF) officers are facing murder charges after a 27-year-old cadet trainee was found dead on the campus of Air Force Technical College (AFTC) in Jalahalli near Bengaluru on Saturday.
The cadet trainee allegedly died by suicide after a Court of Inquiry was ordered against him, NDTV reported quoting police.
The cadet trainee, Ankit Kumar Jha, has mentioned officers holding ranks of Air Commodore, Wing Commander and Group Captain in his suicide letter, the report said.
Jha’s family alleged he was facing constant harassment and torture on the college campus. He had been removed from training after disciplinary action was initiated against him.
