Bhubaneswar: Priyanka Parasar and Bishnu Satpathy have emerged as joint Odisha topper in Class X ICSE exam with 99.40 per cent, the results of which was declared on Sunday.
Disha Goel topped in Class XII ISC exam from the state with 98.26 per cent, reports added.
This year, 98.94% students passed the ICSE exam and 96.93% ISC exams. Girls have performed better in both classes. 99.21 per cent girls passed ICSE while 98.71 per cent boys cleared the exam. In ISC, 98.01% girls and 95.96% boys passed the exams. Nine students have secured first rank in Class X – Rushil Kumar, Annanya Karthik, Shreya Upadhyay, Advay Sardesai, Yash Manish Bhasein, Tanay Sushil Shah, Hiya Sanghavi, Avishi Singh and Sambit Mukhopadhyay – with 99.8%. Riyaa Agarwal, Ipshita Bhattacharyya, Mohd Aryaan Tariq, Subham Kumar Agarwal and Manya Gupta have topped the ISC exam with 99.75%.

Around 2.5 lakh candidates have appeared for CISCE year 2023 board exams. The Class X was held from February 27 to March 29 and the Class XII exam was conducted from February 13 to March 31.
