New Delhi: Students of Class X ICSE board are eagerly awaiting their results for the 1st Semester exam that ended December 16. Similarly, it is also time for the results of Class XII (ISC) students, whose 1st Semester concluded on December 20.
Though there is no official confirmation yet on the date of the results, sources said they were likely to be declared in the third or fourth week of January 2022.
The results can be checked on the board’s official websites, cisce.org or results.cisce.org and also by SMS on 09248082883. For SMS a Class X student will need to type ICSE, followed by his/her seven-digit unique ID. For Class XII it will be ISC, followed by the seven-digit ID.
However, it must be noted that no merit list will be announced this time and only a computer-generated mark sheet will contain the scores of the students.
“The candidates who appear for the examination will be issued a computer-generated mark sheet. This Mark Sheet will only indicate the marks obtained by the candidates in each subject or paper taken by them for the semester 1 examination,” the CISCE had said in a notification.
“The overall result i.e. – Pass Certificate Awarded or Pass Certificate Not Awarded/ Eligible for Compartment Examination will only be declared after completion of the Semester 2 Examination,” it added.
The ICSE (10th) Semester 2 examination is expected to be conducted by April or May 2022. The syllabus was divided into two semesters i.e. Semester 1 and Semester 2 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A large number of candidates had appeared for the examination that was conducted in the offline mode at the various examination centres throughout the country.
