Sunday Poem: If You Come Back…
Even if you come back
The whirlpool of emotions amidst the whims
Won’t settle down.
The unsettledness has clung to life
To the core
Grief has no rescue now
I am used to your absence.
Even if you come back
I can’t go back to my older version
That seems someone else now.
My love now resides in my agony
I must confess
I have made peace with sorrow
You come back to me or not
Makes no difference now
I will live and die in my grief.
