Bhubaneswar: IIT-Bhubaneswar on Thursday said it has set up a help desk on its campus to facilitate aspirants in Odisha to register online for JEE-Advance.
The HRD ministry had on May 7 announced extension of the date for online registration till May 14, following a request from Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
The special help desk has been set up at the E-class room (#103), Lab Complex (LBC) of the permanent campus, the institute said in a statement.
The payment registration can be made online from May 10 to May 15.
“This facility is applicable to all Odisha students who have qualified for JEE (Advanced) Examination-2019 and are interested in registration for JEE (Advanced), particularly those who do not have the internet facility at their place and can avail this opportunity at the designated counter in IIT Bhubaneswar,” the statement said.
Special buses from the city to the campus are being pressed into service to facilitate transportation of the candidates.
The buses will start at 9am and at 2pm from Patia Square and go via Jaydev Vihar – Khandagiri to IIT-Bhubaneswar. Return buses from the campus are available at 12 noon, 4pm and 6pm.
