Bhubaneswar: IIT Bhubaneswar has invited applications for faculty positions at the level of Assistant Professor (Grade I/II), Associate Professor and Professor.
Qualified Indian nationals, including Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), can apply for the above positions.

Required Qualification
Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree in appropriate branch. Those with consistently good academic record such as university toppers at Bachelors and Masters levels are encouraged to apply.
Eligibility For Professor’s Post & Salary
Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in teaching/research/industrial/professional experience. At least four years of this experience should be at the level of Associate Professor at IITs, IISc Bangalore, IIMs, IISERs or equivalent level in any such Indian or foreign institutions of comparable standards.
Salary for this role — ₹ 2,93,301.
Eligibility For Associate Professor’s Post & Salary
Candidates must have at least six years’ experience in teaching/research/industrial/professional post their Ph.D. of which three years should be at the level of Assistant Professor in IITs, IISc Bangalore, IIMs and IISERs or equivalent level in any such Indian or foreign institutions of comparable standards.
Salary for this role — ₹ 2,57,974.
Eligibility For Asst Professor’s Post & Salary
At least three years’ experience in teaching/research/industrial/professional arena post their Ph.D. preferably in IITs, IISc Bangalore, IIMs and IISERs or at an equivalent level in any such Indian or foreign institutions may be considered for the position of Assistant Professor Grade-I.
Age — Candidates for Assistant Professor’s role should not be more than 35 years old.
