Bhubaneswar: A two-member delegation from Taipei Economic & Cultural Centre (TECC) in India visited Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar to explore opportunities to collaborate in the fields of academics and research.
Prof. Chin-Tsan Wang, Counsellor & Director, Science and Technology Division and Ellie Chiang, Assistant Director, Science and Technology Division of TECC had an elaborate discussion with IIT Bhubaneswar Director Prof. Shreepad Karmalkar on possible collaborative research.

Besides research collaboration, the two institutes also explored possibility of exchanges of faculty, researchers and students.
Appreciating the facilities and provisions of the institute, the TECC delegates discussed the possibility of research collaborations between IIT Bhubaneswar and different universities of Taiwan through MoUs, especially in the areas of internal chip (IC) design and micro biofuels.
International internship for students of IIT Bhubaneswar in Taiwan was also discussed.
During their visit, which was part of IIT Bhubaneswar’s International Relations programme, TECC delegates interacted with members of the faculty.
IIT Bhubaneswar has signed MoUs with a number of international universities for collaborative research, international students and faculty exchanges.
