I’ll Watch Narasimha, ‘Saiyaara’ Is For Kids, Says ‘Bigg Boss 13’ Finalist Paras Chhabra

Mumbai: Even as Mohit Suri’s ‘Saiyaara’ is spinning magic at the theatres, ‘Bigg Boss 13’ finalist and MTV Splitsvilla 5 winner, actor-model Paras Chhabra said he doesn’t wish to watch the movie as it’s meant for kids.

During a recent interaction with shutterbugs, when a paparazzo asked him to review Ahaan Panday’s ‘Saiyaara’, Paras said, “Maine dekhi nahi hai bhai. Main Narasimha deekhne jaunga. Saiyaara mujhe samjh nahi aati. Ye love stories, ye naye bachon ke liye acchi hai, humare liye nahi hai (I haven’t seen it, brother. I will watch Naraismha. I don’t understand Saiyyara. These love stories are good for kids, not for us.”

Inspired by the 2004 Korean classic, ‘A Moment to Remember’, Mohit Suri’s ‘Saiyaara’ is about the budding love between a struggling musician (played by Ahaan) and a passionate journalist (played by Aneet Padda).

Penned by Sankalp Sadanah and Rohan Shankar, the film also features Rajesh Kumar, Shaad Randhawa, Geeta Agrawal Sharma, Varun Badola and Sid Makkar.

In just 13 days since its release, the romantic drama has minted a whopping Rs 273 crore, as per a Sacnilk report.

Paras, who began his modelling career by featuring in print campaigns for brands like Raymond, Pantaloons, Monte Carlo and Lakme, stepped into the television world and marked his debut with MTV India’s Splitsvilla 5 in 2012.

He has featured in television shows such as ‘Badho Bahu’ and ‘Aarambh.’

Paras gained a massive fan following after participating in the Salman Khan-hosted reality show ‘Bigg Boss 13’.
