IMD Forecasts Foggy Condition & Rise In Temperature In Several Odisha Districts
Bhubaneswar: The day temperature in Odisha is likely to increase with several districts experiencing foggy condition in next 24 hours.
The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) in its evening bulletin said shallow to moderate fog is very likely at one or two places in the districts of Jajpur, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Angul and Dhenkanal.
While the day (maximum) temperature has been rising in in some parts of the state the last couple of days, the night (minimum) temperature will increase in next few days, it added. Following is the IMD forecast for next 2 days:
Day-1 (valid upto 0830 hrs of Feb 8): Shallow to moderate fog is very likely at one or two places in the districts of Jajpur, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur Cuttack, Angul and Dhenkanal.
Day-2 (valid from o830 hrs of Deb 8 to 0830 hrs of Feb 9): Shallow to moderate fog is very likely at one or two places in Ganjam, Puri, Khurda, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Bhadrak, Dhenkanal and Jajpur districts.
Meanwhile, lowest temperature in the state was recorded at 8.5 degree Celsius in Phulbani. It was followed by 11 degree each in Rourkela and Sundargarh.
The IMD forecast that maximum and minimum temperature in Bhubaneswar is very likely to be around 32 degree Celsius and 17 degree Celsius respectively.
