Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm alert for 17 districts in Odisha from 5pm to 8pm on Saturday.
The latest Met bulletin said light thunderstorm, lightning and light to moderate rainfall was likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nayagarh, Khurda, including Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Puri, Jajpur, Ganjam, Dhenkanal, Angul, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Boudh, Sonepur, Koraput, Malkangiri and Gajapati.
