Bhubaneswar: While several districts in Odisha are likely to experience rain till 8.30 am on March 11, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued yellow warning for thunderstorm and lighting for two days, starting Thursday ( March 9).
The day temperature, however, will continue to remain 2-3 degree Celsius above normal at many places in the state during the next 4-5 days.
On March 7, Jharsuguda was the hottest at 37.8 degree Celsius followed by Boudh (37.6), Sonepur (37.4), Talcher (37.2) and Sundargarh (37). Bhubaneswar and Cuttack recorded 36 degree Celsius and 34.8 degree Celsius respectively.
