Bhubaneswar: Rain accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning is likely to lash at least nine districts of Odisha on Tuesday night, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a nowcast warning.
Warning of thunderstorm, rain, lightning and gusty wind was also issued by the IMD in a message issued at 8.24 pm for Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.

In a message issued earlier at 7.20 pm, the weather agency sounded a warning for Cuttack, Gajapati, Ganjam, Khurda, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nayagarh, Puri, and Rayagada districts.
Moderate rain, thunderstorm with lightning and wind speed 30-40 kmph may occur at a few places over these districts in next 3 hours, it said
