Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre here on Sunday issued Yellow Warning, lightning and thunderstorm, for several parts of Odisha for the next five days.
Light to moderate rain is also likely to occur in some of the districts.
The districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Khurda, Balasore, Jajpur, Bhadrak and Nabarangpur will witness lightning and thunderstorm till 8.30 am on Monday.
From May 31 to June 1

Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput and Malkangiri will receive light rainfall along with thunderstorm and lightning.

Similar conditions will prevails over the districts of Sonepur, Boudh,
Nuapada, Balangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Balasore, Jajpur and Bhadrak.
June 3 to June 4
Rainfall and thunderstorm with lightning is expected in Sonepur, Boudh, Nuapada, Balangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur,
Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Bargarh,
Sambalpur, Deogarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj districts.
As per the mid-day weather bulletin, the southwesterly winds are likely to strengthen further gradually from June 1, resulting in likely enhancement in rainfall activity over Kerala. The could be helpful in monsoon onset over Kerala by June 3.
Bhubaneswar too will remain partly cloudy sky with one or two
spells of rain or thundershowers. The temperature will be around 36 degree Celsius and 29 degree Celsius respectively.
