Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast thunderstorm with lightning at one or two places in Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Boudh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Deogarh, Sundargarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj in the next 24 hours.
While there will be no major rainfall activity on Friday, Malkangiri,
Koraput, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj will experience thunderstorm with lightning.
Similar weather conditions will prevail at one or two places in Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal and Kandhamal on Saturday.
The Met Office has also predicted heavy rainfall in Malkangiri, Koraput, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.
