IMD Predicts Rise In Night Temp By 2-4°C In Odisha Tomorrow; Rain From Nov 28

Bhubaneswar: Several parts of Odisha are likely to experience light to moderate rain for four days from November 28, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Monday.

In a bulletin, the Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar said that dry weather is likely to prevail in the state in the next 24 hours, while shallow to moderate fog may occur at one or two places in the districts of Sundargarh, Kandhamal, Kalhandi, and Koraput during the period.

Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places in the districts of Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Balasore, and Jagatsinghpur on November 28. Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the other districts.

Similarly, light to moderate rain/thundershower is likely to occur at one or two places in the districts of Ganjam, and Gajapati on November 29, while dry weather may prevail elsewhere in the state.

The weather agency said there will be no large change in minimum temperature (night temperature) during next 24 hours. Thereafter, the night temperature is likely to rise by 2-4 degree C during subsequent four days in the state.The highest maximum temperature of 31.8°C was recorded at Paralakhemundi, while the lowest minimum temperature of 10.0°C was recorded at Phulbani in last 24 hours.
