Rourkela: Just six days to go for the start of the FIH Men’s World Cup, the Indian team is sparing no effort to prepare well for the mega event in Odisha.
Having arrived more than a fortnight ahead of their tournament opener, the Graham Reid-coached side has got down to business at the newly-constructed Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium.
Taking advantage of the world-class facilities, the Indian players hit the gym on Saturday before training at the practice ground.
The tournament, featuring 16 teams divided into 4 pools, will get underway simultaneously at Bhubaneswar and Rourkela on January 13. India will be in action on Day 1, against Spain at Rourkela in Pool D.
