New Delhi: The Jadeja household has turned fully saffron.
Team India allrounder Ravindra Jadeja recently joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) by taking up its primary membership.
His wife Rivaba is already a BJP leader, being an MLA from Gujarat’s Jamnagar constituency.
Rivaba shared the news of her husband taking the plunge in politics on social media, posting pictures of Jadeja and herself with their BJP membership cards.

BJP president J P Nadda recently launched a membership drive.
Jadeja, who retired from T20 Internationals along with Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli after India lifted the World Cup in Barbados two months ago, will continue to play the 50-over format and Test cricket.
The 35-year-old left-arm spinner and left-arm batter has been India’s leading allrounder for some years, with over 3,000 runs and 294 wickets in 72 Tests, to go with 2.756 runs & 220 wickets in ODIs.
Rivaba, married to Jadeja since 2016, joined BJP in 2019. In the 2022 Gujarat Assembly election, she defeating Aam Aadmi Party candidate Karshanbhai Karmur to win the Jamnagar seat.
