India Vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2023 Super 4: Virat Kohli, KL Rahul Take India To 356/2 With Their Centuries

New Delhi: As the India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2023 Super 4 match resumed on Monday at 147/2, centuries from Virat Kohli and KL Rahul and respectively took team India to 356/2 in 50 overs against Pakistan. Kohli and Rahul showed a fearless approach and thrashed Pakistan bowlers at every corner of the ground. Kohli finished at 122* off 94 balls while Rahul ended at 111* at 106 balls. Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma scored 58 and 56 runs respectively. For Pakistan, Shadab Khan and Shaheen Afridi took one wicket each.

Kohli brilliantly showed his batting prowess and smashed three boundaries and a six. He became the fastest Indian with 13000 ODI runs, breaking Sachin Tendulkar’s record and lit up the match with his 47th century in one-dayers. The former India captain, resuming his innings from overnight on the reserve day, first brought up a half-century of 55 balls and then took just 29 more to notch up his 47th ODI century.

The rains disrupted the India vs. Pakistan thriller as India dominated the Pakistan pacers on Sunday. The match was interrupted when Pakistan bowlers were trying to make a comeback against the Indians. After several rounds of pitch inspection and efforts by the ground staff, rains returned and the match was called off for the day.
