New Delhi: The Indian Air Force (IAF) is all set to participate in Exercise INIOCHOS-25, a large-scale multinational air drill being hosted by the Hellenic Air Force in Greece from March 31 to April 11.
The 12-day wargame, to be held at Andravida Air Base, is designed to simulate modern air warfare challenges and enhance military cooperation among participating nations.
It has been confirmed that the IAF will participate with its Su-30 MKI air superiority fighter jets, along with IL-78 mid-air refuellers and C-17 Globemaster aircraft, to support combat operations. “The exercise will further reinforce India’s strategic partnerships and bolster its capabilities in joint operations with friendly nations,” the IAF stated.
INIOCHOS-25 will bring together air and surface assets from 15 countries, providing a platform for forces to refine their combat tactics, enhance interoperability, and exchange strategic insights.
“The IAF looks forward to participating in Exercise INIOCHOS-25, a platform to enhance international cooperation, synergy, and interoperability among participating Air Forces,” the IAF added.
During the exercise, participants will engage in planning and executing combined air operations under realistic combat scenarios. “With all operations conducted from Andravida, IAF’s participation will not only strengthen its operational capabilities but also contribute to mutual learning and enhanced coordination among participating countries,” the defence ministry highlighted.
By taking part in this exercise, the IAF continues to demonstrate its commitment to global defense cooperation and operational excellence.
