The advancement of medical technology is helping them take even greater strides and add newer chapters in healthcare.
A Rajasthan doctor was recently honoured for an extremely difficult surgery that he performed successfully in September 2022.
Dr BL Bairwa, Chief Surgeon at MP Birla Hospital and Research Centre in Chittorgarh, was honoured for a procedure he carried out successfully in September 2022.
Dr Bairwa’s name got listed in World Book of Records, London. Seven months ago, he removed 300 cysts from the liver of a 33-year-old patient weighing 30 kg.
The surgery, which lasted three hours, was performed at the MP Birla Hospital and Research Centre on September 13, 2022.
He was felicitated and handed over the certificate at a function in Indore recently.
“World Record! Happy to share that my surgery has been recognised as a #worldrecord by ‘World Book of Records London’ and included in the book. Felicitated with the Award at a event organised in Indore India. Thank you almighty, my parents & family, patient and friends,” Dr Bairwa tweeted.
