Infertility Camp For Childless Couples Of South Odisha At SUM Hospital’s Sitalapalli Campus

Berhampur: A large number of childless couples from different parts of south Odisha attended a free infertility consultation camp was held at Sitalapalli campus of SUM Hospital here on Sunday.

Prof. (Dr) Sujata Pradhan, Head of the Centre for Human Reproduction (CHR) at Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital at Bhubaneswar, counselled the couples.

“Many couples were counselled about their problems and necessary remedial measures at the camp,” Prof. Pradhan said.

The camp’s objective was to provide proper advice for infertility-related problems to childless couples.

The camp was attended by Prof. (Dr) Rajesh Kumar Lenka, Medical Superintendent of IMS and SUM Hospital’s Phulnakhara campus.

Hospital Director Deba Prasad Dash informed that such camps will be held at the Sitalapalli campus of SUM Hospital on the third Sunday of every month, with the cooperation of CHR.
