Bhubaneswar: A cross country Freedom Run was organised at INS Chilka on Wednesday to commemorate 75 years of India’s Independence.
The 75 years of Independence is being observed as “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav” as an accolade to sacrifices, struggle and gallant courage displayed by our freedom fighters.
Members of the station community comprising, service personnel and trainees jubilantly participated in the event.
The 7-km run was flagged off by Commodore NP Pradeep, Commanding Officer, INS Chilka.
