Jharsuguda: In a major boost for flight operations, Veer Surendra Sai Airport, Jharsuguda has received the final nod for operationalisation of Instrument Landing System Device from the Airports Authority of India.
Informing this, Jharsuguda Airport Director Kishore Kumar Senapati said from tomorrow all the flights that land at the airport will be able to avail the advantage of the system.
The device will also be helpful in avoiding diversions due to bad weather and ensure smooth movement of air traffic, added Senapati.
