Jharsuguda: Police busted an IPL betting racket near Gosala Chowk in the town and arrested two gamblers.
The arrested are Harish Sahoo of Malipadar and Akhil Akil Khan of Tata Gali. They were engaged in online betting through various websites, said police.
Police recovered Rs 6.80 lakh, a mobile phone, bank passbook, and some notebooks from their possession.
The raid team was led by SDPO Nirmal Kumar Mohapatra, who said the two accused are part of a larger syndicate.
They have been forwarded to court.
