New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided that the 13th edition of the IPL will start from September 19 and end on November 10 in the UAE.
The BCCI took the decision at the Governing Council meeting of the Indian Premier League (IPL). It was also decided that there will be enough time between the games due to the COVID-19 protocols.
“The final will be held on a weekday for the first time. Besides, there will be 10 doubleheaders this season,” a news agency quoted an official saying.
The evening games will start at 7.30 pm IST, 30 minutes ahead of the regular IPL time, the official said. On the entry of fans, the official said these things will be taken care of in consultation with the Emirates Cricket Board.
