Hyderabad: Allu Arjun’s upcoming film AA22xA6, directed by Atlee, is already generating a buzz with Deepika Padukone having been confirmed as the female lead. Now, a new report suggests that Anushka Sharma may also join the cast.
Anushka is reportedly in talks to be part of the film, which, if finalised, will mark her debut in Telugu cinema.

On the work front, ‘Chakda ‘Xpress’, in which Anushka was to play Jhulan Goswami in the female cricketer’s biopic, is in limbo, and has reportedly been shelved.
Her last on-screen appearance was a cameo in ‘Qala’ in 2022.
Anushka has been based in London since 2024 with her husband Virat Kohli and their two children, daughter Vamika and son Neer.
AA22xA6 is said to be a large-scale project built around a “parallel universe” concept, with Allu Arjun reportedly playing multiple roles.
Besides Deepika, there is also speculation about Rashmika Mandanna appearing in a negative role.
While the release date is yet to be announced, the makers are expected to unveil the film’s first teaser on April 8, coinciding with Atlee’s birthday.
