Hyderabad: Odisha FC went on a scoring spree at the Gachibowli Stadium as they humbled hosts Hyderabad FC 6-0 in an ISL clash on Monday evening.
It was Odisha’s biggest win of the season, as well as the largest victory margin for any team in ISL 2024-25.
The other comforting facts were Odisha achieving their first clean sheet and also first away win of the season.
Isak, playing his 50th ISL game, opened the scoring after 11 minutes. Diego Mauricio doubled the lead on the half-hour mark to give Odisha a 2-0 advantage at half-time.
Hyderabad goalkeeper Lalbiakhlua Jongte put the ball into his own goal in an attempt to make a clearance six minutes after the change of ends. Mourtada Fall (70), Puitea (75) and Rahim Ali (89) joined the goalfest to complete a resounding win.
It took Odisha up to fourth place, with 12 points from 9 matches.
