Berhampur: The Odisha government-run Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Berhampur has been ranked 12th among the best ITIs across the country. The institute secured 4.05 out of 5 points on the grading list.
The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) prepared the rankings of the top 100 ITIs of the country with the ITI Berhampur occupying the 12th spot.
ITI Berhampur apart, five other ITIs from Odisha are in the ranking list. Top-ranked in the state, the ITI Berhampur stood 12th among the 12,352 institutes in the country.
Other five Odisha ITIs in the top 100 are ITI Hinjlicut (21), ITI Jajpur (31), ITI Cuttack (35), ITI Jharsuguda (47) and ITI Puri (96).
ITI Berhampur principal, Dr Rajat Panigrahy was ecstatic and said that it is a great moment for the institute.
