Mumbai: ‘Dhurandhar’ actor Arjun Rampal has been dating South African model Gabriella Demetriades since 2018, and the couple has two sons.
After the massive success of ‘Dhurandhar’, Arjun and Gabriella appeared on Rhea Chakraborty’s podcast and disclosed they are officially engaged.
In the teaser of the podcast, the couple gave a sneak peek into their love story, marriage and family.
Gabriella dropped hints about their marriage plans, saying, “We’re not married now, but who knows?”.
Arjun confirmed, “But we are engaged!”, leaving Rhea surprised.
“We just broke it on your show,” the actor added.
Gabriella said that she hadn’t approached Arjun because of his looks.
“No, no. I went after her because she was hot, then I realised there is a little more to it than just the hotness,” Arjun said.
Reflecting on how parenthood changed her understanding of love, Gabriella said, “Your love comes with conditions, it’s like if a person behaves this way, then get my approval or love. But when you have a child, you can’t do that, right?”
Arjun and Gabriella met through mutual friends and fell for each other.
They welcomed their first son Arik in 2019 and their second was born in July 2023.
Before dating Gabriella, Arjun was married to Mehr Jesia. They have two daughters, Mahikaa and Myra.
On the work front, Arjun ‘s recent release ‘Dhurandhar’ has left cash registers ringing at the box office. The film has collected over Rs 290 crore, as per Sacnilk.com.
Helmed by Aditya Dhar, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Ranveer Singh in lead roles.
