New Delhi: Ever since Jacqueline Fernandez’s name cropped up in the Rs 200-crore extortion case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, the Bollywood actress has been making headlines for the wrong reasons.
Sukesh wooed Jacqueline by presenting expensive gifts like cars, a horse and luxury items.
The conman even promised to give Jacqueline India’s first woman superhero project involving Hollywood VFX artists to be shot on a global scale.
Jacqueline was so convinced and influenced by Sukesh that the actress was constantly in touch with him, even after his crimes were exposed.
The Sri Lankan actress was reportedly planning to marry Sukesh, who she considered to be her ‘man of dreams’. Jacqueline had denied rumours of her dating Sukesh, but intimate pictures of the duo went viral soon after.

Jacqueline, who has been named in a chargesheet filed by Enforcement Directorate, was questioned for nearly eight hours by Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police. Another actress Nora Fatehi was also questioned the same day.
“There is more trouble for Jacqueline as she did not cut ties with Sukesh Chandrasekhar even after knowing his criminal antecedents. But Nora Fatehi did disconnect herself once she suspected that something is fishy,” Ravinder Yadav, Special Commissioner of Police EOW, told ANI.
Jacqueline’s co-stars had warned her to keep away from the conman, but she continued to meet him and accept expensive gifts.
