New Delhi: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, 73, was admitted to AIIMS Delhi on Sunday after experiencing chest pain, according to reports. He was taken to the hospital around 2 am on Sunday, reported the PTI. Dhankhar is currently under observation in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) and his condition is stated to be stable, reports claim.
Dr Rajiv Narang, Head of the Department of Cardiology at AIIMS, is treating the Vice President. A team of doctors is closely monitoring his condition.
Union Minister and senior BJP leader JP Nadda visited AIIMS to enquire about Dhankhar’s health. Nadda visited the hospital shortly after he was admitted.
