Mumbai: Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter are excited as their film, Dhadak is releasing tomorrow.
According to reports, Janhvi, the daughter of Boney Kapoor and late Sridevi has been paid far less than her co-star, Ishaan Khatter. Reports also say that her remuneration has been only between Rs 40 and Rs 50 lakh as compared to Khatter’s Rs 70 lakh.
Director of the movie Shashank Khaitan was paid Rs 4 crore while writer Nagraj Manjule received Rs 2 crore.
Music composer duo, Ajay-Atul, who have also given soulful music for the original Marathi film ‘Sairat’, received Rs 1.5 crore for Dhadak.
Karan Johar is launching the two youngsters in the official remake of ‘Sairat’.
