Mumbai: Jasleen Matharu, the ‘Bigg Boss 12’ contestant had once become the talk of the town for dating veteran singer Anup Jalota, 37 years older to her.
Now, bridal photos of Jasleen with vermillion on her forehead and chooda (Bridal bangles) in her hands have gone viral on social media with netizens speculating that the lady has got hitched to her veteran beau Anup Jalota secretly amidst the lockdown.
However, in an interview with SpotboyE, Jasleen rubbished the rumours of her marriage and stated that she had dressed up like a bride for a TikTik video.
“I was shooting a music video on the song Chupke Se from Saathiya at home. Yes, I dressed like a newly-wed girl at her honeymoon. But surely, I didn’t expect that it would lead to so much chaos,” said Jasleen.
Earlier, when she was in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house, her relationship with Anup Jalota had made heads turn because of the age gap between the two.
But, soon after getting evicted from the show, she said that she was just playing a prank in the Bigg Boss house about her affair with Anup Jalota.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Jasleen had said, “The truth is that there has always been a guru-shishya relationship between us. Before entering the Bigg Boss house, Anup ji had called me on stage by referring to me as his shishya. Since it was a premier show with Salman Khan and Anup ji, I immediately thought of playing a stupid prank. I went on stage and cracked a joke that we were in a relationship for three years and are going in the house as a couple.”
