Mumbai: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay declared the results of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2022 on Sunday. All Top 10 students are boys.
R K Shishir of IIT Bombay zone has topped the examination securing 314 out of 360 marks followed by Polu Lakshmi Sai Lohith Reddy and Thomas Biju Cheeramvelil in the second and third spots. Others in the top 10 include Vangapalli Sai Siddhartha, Mayank Motwani, Polisetty Karthikeya, Pratik Sahoo, Dheeraj Kurukunda, Mahit Gadhiwala and Vetcha Gnana Mahesh.
Vetcha Gnana Mahesh had appeared for the exam from the IIT-Bhubaneswar zone. Deevyanshu Malu, who has scored the 11th rank, is also from this zone. Suryansh Srijan (51), Tanish Agarwal (57) and Aditya Prakash (70) are among the Top 5 from the IIT-Bhubaneswar zone.
Tanhishka Kabra from the IIT Delhi zone is the female topper securing Rank 16. She obtained 277 marks out of 360.
According to a senior IIT Bombay official, 1,55,538 candidates appeared in both paper one and two in JEE (Advanced) 2022. A total of 40,712 candidates have qualified of which 6,516 are females.

To download the JEE Advanced 2022 scorecard, click on jeeadv.ac.in. Use log-in credentials — roll number, date of birth. The scorecard will appear on screen, download and take a printout.
A total of 16,598 seats are up for grabs in all the 23 IITs this year, including 1,567 supernumerary seats for female candidates. The JoSAA counselling will begin on September 12.
