Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government will conduct thermal screening of the students appearing for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) in Bhubaneswar from September 1-6.
Khurda collector Sanat Kumar Mohanty on Saturday said about 10,000 candidates will appear for the JEE at six centres in Bhubaneswar. As per the COVID-19 guidelines, the administration will conduct thermal screening for each candidate before entry into the examination hall.
To address the commuting issues of the candidates, the administration has taken all possible steps for the aspirants’ free transportation and accommodation, the collector said.
The JEE examination is scheduled to be held between September 1 and 6 followed by the NEET on September 13.
