JEE Main 2020 Exam Postponed Over Coronavirus Outbreak, Admit Card To Be Released On March 31

New Delhi: The JEE Main April exam 2020, which was scheduled for April 5,7,9 and 11, has been postponed in view of the coronavirus threat to the examinees.

Similarly, the release of the admit cards has also been rescheduled to March 31. Candidates will now be able to download their admit cards from March 31 onwards instead of March 20 at nta.jeemain.nic.in, the National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts the exam, said.

The decision followed a directive from the Ministry of Human Resource Development to reschedule all entrance exams after March 31.

“Since JEE main may require travel by examinees…and the dates may clash with rescheduled CBSE and other board exams, therefore JEE main should be rescheduled and new dates of the JEE mains will be announced on 31.3.2020 after reassessment of the situation,” an order issued by HRD secretary Amit Khare said.
