New Delhi: Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kahsmir GC Murmu has resigned from the post, according to reliable sources.
The sources said the Lt Governor sent his resignation letter to the Centre on Wednesday evening and will vacate his post immediately.
Murmu is tipped to be appointed as next Comptroller and Auditor General of India.
