Bhubaneswar: Job aspirants applying for the posts of Revenue Inspector (RI) and Amin in Odisha staged protest in front of State Library in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday demanding cancellation of exams being conducted by the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC).
As a mark of protest over alleged irregularities in the online (LI) exams conducted by OSSC in the recent past, the aspirants burnt their admit cards for the RI and Amin exams.
“We had apprised the state government about our demands and the irregularities in the recently conducted exams. The government has turned a deaf ears to our concerns,” the agitating job aspirants said.
According to the protestors, they will not qualify for the posts even if they score high marks. They warned the government to launch statewide protests if the exams are not cancelled.
