Washington: Two more Indian-Americans have been appointed by US President Joe Biden in key administrative positions, as per the latest list announced by the White House on Friday.
Chiraag Bains has been named as Special Assistant to the President for Criminal Justice while another Indian-American Pronita Gupta has been appointed Special Assistant to the President for Labour and Workers.
“These qualified, impressive, and dedicated individuals reflect the diversity and strength of America and will play critical roles advancing the Biden-Harris administration’s commitment to tackling the crises we face and building back our country better,” the White House was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.
