Balasore: A junior engineers of rural water supply and sanitation (RWSS) department was found dead in his government quarters under mysterious circumstances in Baliapal area of Odisha’s Balasore district on Sunday.
The deceased, identified as Sanjay Nayak, was reportedly found unconscious in his house at Madhupura under Baliapal block. He was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead, sources said.

The exact cause of his death is yet to be ascertained and the body has been sent for post-mortem.
The police have launched an investigation to ascertain the cause behind his death. Efforts are on to ascertain whether there was any foul play. A clear picture is likely to emerge after the post-mortem report is ready, police said.
