Bhubaneswar: With four films under his belt, Odia actor Jyoti Ranjan Nayak is all excited about his upcoming flick ‘Tu Mo Hero’. He plays a slum boy, who elopes with his lady love to face crude realities of life.
While Jhilik Bhattacharjee stars opposite Jyoti, veteran actor Mihir Das, Jiban Panda, Guddu are essaying important roles in the movie.
Dillip Panda is the director of this romantic action movie. While Baidyanath Dash has scored the music, the choreography is by Prem Gopi.
“With every movie, I am getting a better grip of the industry. I always wanted to become an actor and am very hopeful about my upcoming action-romance,” said Jyoti, who entered Ollywood after winning a reality show.
A gifted dancer, Jyoti has mesmerised moviegoers with his deft moves apart from acting skills in his earlier releases, ‘Dele Dhara Katha Sare’, ‘Nijhum Ratira Saathi’ and ‘Mitha Mitha’.
“People will love my onscreen chemistry with Jhilik. She has learnt Bharatnatyam and Odissi. The choreographer has given both of us difficult but beautiful steps, which the audience is going to love. In the title track, I have given tribute to MJ and Govinda,” said Jyoti.
The six songs have been shot in Manali, Ladakh and some places of Odisha. While the post-production work has started, the film is slated to be released next month.
