Mumbai: Bollywood Actress Kangana Ranaut has sued the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) over the alleged illegal demolition of her Pali Hill office in Mumbai.
In her petition filed in Bombay High Court, she has also sought Rs 2 crore in damages from the civic body.
The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government in Maharashtra has termed it as an ‘immature plea’.
On September 9, the BMC demolished what it termed as illegal alterations at the ‘Queen’ actor’s bungalow.
The actor and her lawyer, however, claimed that she was being targeted for having spoken about the ‘movie mafia’ in Bollywood.
