Baripada: A Kangaroo court punished three alleged thieves by tying them to a tree in Mayurbhanj district.
The three were accused of stealing a water pump from the house of one Kartika Hembram at Chikitamatia village in Morada police limits. They later allegedly sold the pump.
Pronouncing them guilty, Kartika and other villagers tied the three to a tree. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
The identity of the three victims could not be ascertained as yet.
