Kashi Vishwanath Temple Implements Heat Relief Measures For Devotees

Lucknow: The Kashi Vishwanath Temple administration has implemented special measures to protect devotees from the scorching heat while ensuring their comfort and safety.

To protect visitors from the intense heat, “soft jute mats have been laid across the pathways to prevent foot burns. The jute mats are being directly supplied from Jute Corporation of India, Kolkata,” said an official from the temple administration.

This apart, cooling sheds have been installed at key points to provide much-needed relief, while the number of water stations has been increased to keep devotees hydrated. Additional coolers have also been set up to maintain a comfortable atmosphere

“We have extended the precautions taken during the Maha Kumbh Mela. We are providing water and glucose to the devotees,” he added.

In addition, the temple authorities are conducting regular water sprinkling to keep the ground cool and enhance the overall experience for worshippers. 

These proactive steps have been widely appreciated by devotees, ensuring a more comfortable darshan amid the harsh summer conditions.
